The essential requirements of the National legislation not mentioned above are as follows :
recycling of 4kg per household per annum by 31.12.2008. collection and recycling currently must be done in 15 categories
producers/importers are responsible for financing recycling and collection of their products
historical WEEE collection and recycling costs will be covered applying market share principle (still under development)
specific requirements for marking of EEE starting from August 13th 2005.
penalties to be paid by the producers for:
not registering
incorrect or none marking
non-reporting
